SARS is the short form of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome. As the name implies, it is respiratory diseases. This disease is caused by a virus that is named as SARS-CoV. As it is a viral disease, so, there is no antibiotic to deal with this. SARS is one such disease that hit the world in 2003 when it first appeared in China. After its first introduction, it has found in some other places as well. It is one of those diseases which can claim your life. So, you must take some precautionary measures to stay away from it. As far as symptoms are concerned, you can find lots of them. A wide range of signs and symptoms may show up in people suffering with severe acute respiratory syndrome. Fever is the most common symptom of SARS which can go as high as 38 degree Celsius. As it is a respiratory disease, so, patient will always find it difficult to breathe properly. This difficulty in breathing will lead to dry cough. Along with cough, headache, loss of appetite, rash, stiffness in muscles and diarrhea are few of the most common symptoms that are associated with SARS.
